George,

I ordered the Gold Rear Bushing bracket with the 50 & 70nm bushings. I'm going to use the "Street" (50nm) bushing in the gold bracket HOWEVER, I have the flat approx. 1/8" thick rubber piece that came with the MGW Shifter as follows:

HOWEVER, your video now calls for Ultra Black Silicone RTV to be placed on top of the bracket between it and the body of the vehicle and no longer mentions the use of this rubber piece.

Can I use this rubber "isolator" piece between the Gold bracket and body of the vehicle or do you suggest using the RTV instead?

Lastly, I also have the MANNEGLASS thermal Sheet of fiberglass/ceramic blend. Do you still recommend using this product as part of the installation???

Do NOT use the strip with the gold bracket. it will set the position too low.

you do not have to use the rtv if you don't want to. it should really not cause much more vibration but optimally you want to install as directed
