Great looking car. So clean looking.

Thanks man ...

The little water cover is 100% not needed lol. Ive driven the car in heavy rain and let it sit in heavy rain and checked the filter and its not even wet lol.

I swear every SG does exactly what I have, we all look too similar! I am painting my car Lamborghini Baloon White

Your hood vents are still SG, aren't they? Lol

Damn, looking real sexy good job!

Thanks man ...

I would think that the vent on my GT500 allows too much water in (no guard at all), but it's perfectly fine too next to the open air filter.

Also, that would be a fucking awesome color on a S197.

Today I received and installed the Airaid Race CAI, Plasti-Dipped rainshield, Bama tuner with their hybrid 93-octane tune, and a WebElectric 3rd-brake-light pulser.

Airaid was nice enough to only include 1 of the 2 large clamps needed to secure the coupler between the filter and tube, I had to go to a hardware store to get another clamp.

I just got my used-oil results for the Amsoil 10W40 XL oil that I used from 5,005 to 10,092 miles, and the stock 10k-mile rear-diff fluid, which turns out was full of crap ...

New upper/lower billet grilles installed, stock fog lights (with some lens tint spray-paint on them to darken them out a bit) now hiding behind the upper grille, still functional :

Made some step-up ramps for the car to drive on before the ramps, since the Roush splitter would touch the ramps now that the car's lowered :

And some mid-install pictures:

Got an alignment and got the resonators deleted. Wow does it sound good now ... holy crap, I can't stay out of the throttle, lol

Oh, and without camber plates, sitting on Steeda Sport springs, the toe is back into speck, the caster was already in spec, and the camber sits at only 0.1 out of spec, so good enough for me.

I'm psyched!

God that first page was a blast to read over. Everything looks way better, but I'm wondering if you did the rear quarter panel tint, did you really want the Ford emblem stuck on like that? It kind of kills the sleekness you've established. Sweet damn car either way though.

Thanks, and as far as the black tips, I know some people don't like the look but I love it, it's cut down a lot on their cleaning and they add to the "sinister" look of the car ... lol

Too quiet!

Umm, not for me, they're louder when moving / under load, they sound absofuckinlutely fuhkin-tastic! :D

Looking good bro. I wanna do the same for my fogs.

Thanks man!

Lol thanks ... yeah, I wanted the Ford oval to stick out. Originally I was gonna have my buddy make it out of a lighter color but then I realized that it would've stuck out like a sore thumb so I changed it to a color close to the car's color. They're the only Ford ovals anywhere on the car ... I like them.

Agree on the exhaust. I love the GT500 AB's. They sound just right. Under load, it's pretty loud for what it is. Car looks great. The more I looked at the new grilles, the more I like them.

Thanks man ... I just got a new chrome shifter knob post installed to replace the one I tried to polish (used to be black), looks so much better with the chrome one, it matches all the chrome bits around the shifter area and the switch accents, I love it!

A great eBay find, was this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/221222366724
