Had a blast until the second to last session of the last day.

Cold tires on the first lap, probably in the wrong gear and with the adrenaline of being in the pack...I over powered the street tires before I had a chance to blink! If you listen carefully, you can hear the throttle open up....and in a flash the car goes sideways!

Good news was something told me I should purchase the track insurance 2 days before the event! Lets just say I made out great! Not once did they question what I asked, a lot of aftermarket parts they paid me full retail for!

Once I got my check, the parts starting coming in! Had to tear it apart, remove the engine and It was off to the frame shop to get checked out.

While the motor was out, decided to send the tr6060 to get a little beefing up and rebuild. Also grabbed up a MGW shifter!

Also got a great deal on some Airlift!

From somebody that knows body work I'm very impressed. Sad to see that awesome car wrecked, but that new front is impressive

Nice man! I was wondering why you were doing all that work to your front end.

Are you going to be doing more road course racing?

Sorry man! Awesome you got the Insurance though!!
You don't want some nice Roush seats to go in there to keep you tucked in around those twists and turns do you?:)

They still need some attention in a few spots, ill dust them with some black paint and block them out when I do the engine bay. Rest of the car is pretty much ready for paint minus scuffing.

Looking good! Is the same motor going back in?

Yes, I've been sooo happy with this motor, even at 9 PSI it's scary fun to drive. Tr6060 did get some goodies while it was under the knife!

I will for sure! Just not with this car...once the car is finished this go around, it's being retired to car shows and cruising...I will be looking for a affordable track car...been thinking of a 05 V6 and eventually throw a coyote motor in it.

Man that's sweet. Sorry to hear about the wreck but at least u made out alright.

It's been a lot of work, most of the hard stuff is behind me now.

They look great, hard to tell from the pics but, it looks like the old fender mates to the new one nicely! And yes always good to add a guide coat when blocking. I've been proceastinating a making a build post for myself but I think I may post a few pics now.
