Actually, the 7.55 was an incremental from a 1/4 mile run in December at Fontana. The air was very similar. Overcast and cool. But the track in Barona is prepped very well.

That's because real drag racers own and operate it. They get it...

My best time so far was at barona. I was running street tires 285x45x18. I ran a 8.1 with a 1.8 60ft. This was at there armdrop event. The track was prepped well

I actually have the video---just didn't add it as I don't have the 60' or 330'

Do you remember what the 60' time was?

EDIT: here is the video:
http://videos.streetfire.net/video/B...mph_197363.htm

And guess what--I put a pic of the timeslip at the end. I am such a dumbass sometimes.....

Wow... I don't remember seeing that vid before. Either I just missed it, or I'm having a brain fart. Either way, that was sick!

new best. i loved my tires a month a go, now i hate them again.

298 stroker
p/p heads
cams
auto
3000 stall
100 shot no idea what pressure in the bottle
275-40 17 m/t drag radials

im breaking the tires loose of the hole, and cant get more traction. this is the best i could do leaving like grandma slowly of the tree.

If you have 4.10s and a 3000 stall converter, then yes, go with a 28 tall tire. I used to hook right out of the hole with the 125 shot all the time with the M&H 325/45/17.

BTW, my best 1/8th mile pass on the N20 125 shot was a 7.28---so I think your goals for the 100 is a little steep. However, the only supporting mods I had at the time was the typical CAI, tune, 4.10s, and the DRs. Don't know what more you have done, so there may be a significant difference there.

what was your best time n/a ? to get an idea of how much time did the 125 lower of your time. other than the motor i have the respective suspension mods and others. obiously the more you get the better. i have to start shaving weight also.

We got the car out to Irwindale for some shakedown runs last night. Although I did manage a new personal best (twice), there is still some tuning to be done. Things you can't see on the dyno often show up at the track, and last night was a good example. It wasn't running quite right on the back end. By the 3rd run it was getting better, but more tuning time is needed. The numbers for Run #3 were:

60' - 1.487 (my slowest 60' of the night... best was 1.458, the other was 1.468)
330' - 4.313 (the others were 4.328 and 4.315)
1/8 - 6.691
1/8 mph - 103.04

Time sheet below... car #4462, left lane.

Did you tree Adam (was that Adam in the other lane?) Good mph, just need to get the 60 down to low 1.40-41 and you have a 6.5X.

Yes, that was Adam and yes, I tree'd him. But in his defense, his ET was off because he left on the TB, and the car spun. But... I still tree'd him.

We'll see what we do at Barona this weekend...
