Need help choosing wheels!

I'm in a bit of a battle with myself currently, trying to decide what wheels to mount my new tires on. They will be my everyday wheels/tires and I will sell the other set that I don't mount as I have far too many haha.

Option 1: Piano black Forgestar F14, 18x9.5 with +35mm offset.


Option 2: OEM GT500, 18x9.5 with +45mm offset.


The tires on both wheels for those pictures are 275/35/18s and are track tires. The tires that will be going on will be 275/40/18, so a little more sidewall. I like the lighter weight of the F14s and I think the black looks "cooler" than the silver machined finish of the GT500s, but I just can't get over how nice and clean the car looks with the GT500s on. What do you guys think? For what it's worth, and I do care, the F14s are six pounds lighter per wheel than the GT500s which is substantial. The F14s are definitely fill the wheel gaps a bit more with their aggressive offset.

What do you guys think?

I like the silver on white over the black much cleaner..silver stripes would be pretty sweet too.

Silver GT500's for sure. White car with silver wheels is crispy.

Silver wheels for sure. I replaced my stock wheels with silver five spoke.

That is a tough call. Always been a fan of the GT500 wheels though.

If you can get Forgestars in silver rather than black, I'd go with them over the GT500 wheels.. The F14's give you lighter weight and fill the wheel wells nicer with +35mm offset..

If they're not available in silver, then I'd recommend going with the silver machined GT500's instead..

These are both my own sets. I'd rather not spend more money to powder coat, but silver F14s would be HAWT.

I don't hate the black ones, but machined wheels on a white car are the shit.

I agree, silver machined on white looks great. I just never liked those GT500 wheels.

I prefer black wheels on every color car except white, I gotta go with option 2 here.

Machined w/Black Pockets. If they still make them.

Well, I am in the minority here, and I am a little biased, but F14s all day long. If you don't like the black, Plasti-dip is a cheap fix if you don't want to have them powder coated a different color. But I kinda dig the black. It looks tough.
