started this thread to show and help others see what is involved in this GT500 manifold swap onto a GT 4.6. First off this manifold is one off and of superior quality in my opinion.

Here are some pictures of today. will post more tomorrow with more details. thanks for looking

I just got my used SC in the mail today for this! I'll be following your thread too since I'm going to be doing this soon.

You might have already done this and I just can't tell from your pics but you may want to go a head and disconnect the battery and cover the terminals to prevent any accidental arcing.

Good luck and keep the pictures coming in!

Does anyone know if sqidd has come up with a baseline 'canned' tune he can send out that's close enough to get these back yard mechanics safely to the speed shop after the install for a proper dyno tune?

i dont believe so and really dont think he will cause this manifold has so many different options you could go... your best bet is to take it somewhere for a tune

Pretty sure he is not getting involved in the tuning. I know a couple of the guys have driven their cars to the Dyno on the stock tune...staying out of boost obviously.

Most tuners will set you up with a base tune for getting to the dyno.

For guys who aren't afraid to tear things apart, good $$/HP. Good luck man and fricking tip toe to the tuner!

Nice. I sent my snout out for the pulley. I'm curious on the way you did your heater hoses. But I guess I'll tackle that later. Nice. Good luck and keep us posted.

running the heater hose down the driver side fit? How much room is there between the block and DOB manifold?
