I think you will be able to accomplish your goal pretty easily once you get comfortable with the car.

I went 10.3 @ 138 on the shake down passes with my car. It was making about 660rwhp through the 4R70W and I was running some 275/60/15 MT drag radials with 20psi in them. I was 60' in the 1.7 range spinning through 1st and short shifting 2nd.

I agree, the parts are there. Just need seat time.

18 psi

I have been, right now I have them two turns out in the rear and 6 turns out in the front.

Last night I was able to use the line lock and get a good burn out. I did a easy test pass to see if the car would hook. Next time out I let a little harder and the was able to get a 1.62 60 ft and 6.90 at 102 1/8. I had to lift shortly after though when my fuel pressure warning light flashed at me. I will have to check into the reason the rail pressure drooped below 40 psi on the run though. Looks like my fuel issues are haunting me once again. I am uploading the videos now and will post later.

Here are the vids from last night. Keep in mind I am not trying to race anyone, and don't care about reaction times at this point. Also notice the rubber on the track! There is a lot of big slick cars there on Sat. for the points racing. That is why I went, there is very good track prep and lots of big slicks running if you wait till qualifying is running.

Slow pull to check traction. Left at 1500 after a good burnout.

Next is the 2nd pass with a 2500 launch and full throttle till the FP light came on. Still need to look in to that. Nice 1/8 numbers though.

Your on nt555r correct? Why don't you try the nt05r? That's a much softer drag radial.

Last I checked they didn't make the same size as 555r?

They make a 275 and a 315 I think I can get the 315 in there. I will have to check. The 275 shows to be 10.6 wide and the 315 is 11.0. I want to say my 305 555 drs are 10.5. I need to look.

Should be a fun spring meet!

I can tell you he is more than ready for Mexico, he does handle the language pretty well, lol.

For Mexican Spanish. LOL Torlrlrlrrlrrtia!!! Mason had a great time when you where here. And it was funny hearing someone tell me I have a Mexican accent when I speak Spanish. (That's all we know here) And thanks for the tuning even though it was not the easiest tune file you have ever built.

But yes I can order some tasty drinks in Mexico or find a good race in "Mexico".
