So i did a quick search and found not alot.

Obviously getting a modified knuckle is the best bet to getting more angle however are there other ways of doing it?

I know the old fox's and SN's had steering limiters do these newer ones have them as well?

Adding a spacer to the inner tie rod? This is a common thing on 240's maybe it can be done to a mustang as well.

Lastly--anyone know for sure if the 05-09 knuckles fit on the 11+ mustangs? I have heard they do but the ball joints are different but never saw much else on this and a parts reference from ford has said the P/N's are different however that doesn't necessarily mean they are different

Yes the S197 mustang have a steering stop on the rack & yes you can put a spacer like the Nissan, here a little pics I made to show the difference. My spacer was a 7mm one.

The 2011 one use different knuckle than the 05-10 since the ball joint size is different. But the 05-10 will bolt on 11+ if you change the ball joint for a 05-10

That was useful thanks man. Any reference to how much more angle with knuckles? I emailed derrick and might send some knuckles in here real soon so would like to see the comparison with spacers,oe, no limiter and knuckles

I have some knuckle from derrick, they gave like +60 degre angle, I don't have comparaison, but from my eye they look like the same with rack spacer. But they reduce a lot the ackerman

this is yo show you how close the caliper is with the control arm with the rack spacer:

this is with the knuckle:

But like i said with only the rack spacer you have a lot of ackerman so I really recommand the knuckle to reduce it :)

Get derrick rogers knuckles. He built mine two years ago. I have hit stuff and bent tie rods a coupes times. Even totaled the car into the wall at irwindale hard enough to bend my control arm and the knuckles are still fine. I had 63 degrees of angle after the knuckles.

You will need to do something about your passenger wiring harness under the fender if you do his knuckles and take your limiter out. I killed mine. It is now rerouted inside the engine bay.

These things make the car alot easier to play with. It's almost cheating lol super long wheelbase plus alot of angle. Just make sure you don't use them as a crutch. You will find its easy to just do rolling burnouts around the course. But, you won't have any speed at all.

Yeah ive talked to derrick a few times and when i do get knuckles i'll get his. I found a very similar thing with my s13. At times i would have so much angle my speed was much slower than other cars. The fix for that wasn't always to get less angle but simply to go faster when entering.
