Thought I would make a diy for the speaker install since the 2013s are alittle different. I installed Pioneer 6x8s on my 13 with the shaker 500. On the 13 if you have the shaker 500 you will need the 11-12 speaker bracket. The part numbers are 4R3Z-18B947-AA AND 4R3Z-18B947-AB. They came out to 26 bucks at the dealer. Thanks Greg! Only need the brackets if you have a 2013 WITH the shaker system!

Tools
Interior trim remover tool
7mm
t30 torq wrench
6mm

1. Unclip and remove 7 7mm bolts. 2 on each side and 3 on the bottom

2. Remove the window switch and unbolt the 7mm bolt

3. Remove the mirror cover

4. Remove the panel on the grab handle and then remove the t30 bolt. Same step on the door handle too

5. Now you can remove the panel. Lift up and out. Once you get that off remove the 3 6mm bolts on the speaker. Unclip the harness and pull it out.

6. Place the new 11-12 bracket where the old speaker bracket was positioned. It will just snap in place.

7. Install the speaker harness on the factory clip.

8. Screw the speaker in place and reintsal all the pieces! Enjoy the new sound!!

EDIT: Hmmm.....mine doesn't have anything on it. Wonder if it's the 500?

You will have door subs if you have the Shaker setup.

OP - your Shaker door speakers look different than my 2012 Shaker 500 speakers.

These are my OEM vs. My new Shelby Kicker's.

I think I had read that the metra harness adapter actually has the wires reveresed. Did you do anything to correct that?

Did you use a LOC for your subs? Been trying to find a good writeup on how to install mine properly (even though I have the shaker).

So on a 2010-12, you can reuse the speaker bracket? My car is a base model.
yes plug and play
Did you swap all 4? I think i saw that by swapping all 4 it works ok that way.

and no i just replaced the doors. the kit clipped in the factory harness then had two terminals one small and one larger to match the speaker. worked great so again idk how they wouldnt work right lol

Not sure either man, since I havent taken mine out of and tried installing. I just know I've seen multiple posts saying the Metra harnesses have the wire polarity reversed.

I'd be glad to know that isn't the case since I'll be hooking mine all up soon.
