I gotta say, the movie was top notch. Definitely worth seeing in theaters, especially in IMAX. Some of the scenes had the entire theater holding their breath. Great movie.

Godzilla was awesome. It had a few dark moments and the monster battles were extremely well done. The special effects were fantastic and godzilla was awesome.

Just finished watching it. It was awesome!! Highly recommend. With remakes like that, it shames me to think about the other shitty remake that shared the same name.

Everything was well done!!

I posted in the movie lovers thread the other night. Didn't know it had it's own thread. I saw it in 3D IMAX on Friday night. Worth the hour drive to our nearest IMAX theater. No way I wasn't watching this movie in IMAX 3D. Loved everything about the movie. Especially the quality of the effects. Godzilla and everything else looked real. The sound in IMAX is amazing also, especially hearing the battle cry.

Enjoyed the film. The biggest complaint I hear is too much story and not enough Godzilla. However, the original Godzilla (1954) didn't give him much screen time either.
