I finally decided to go with the Paxton kit with some extra goodies from Beefcake, couldn't pass on the black Friday sales!! Along with the SL2200 kit I got the following stuff to go along with it.
  • wastegate kit
  • Boundary Oil pump gears, and timing sprocket
  • ATI 20% overdrive crank dampener / pulley
  • 8 Rib upgrade
  • JLT CAI
Knowing the Paxton 2200SL has more to offer beyond what a stock Coyote can handle in terms of boost / airflow, I figured to go 8 rib, and 20% Overdrive right off the bat just so I don't have to buy the stuff, and do the work twice if I ever decide to get the motor forged at a later date. I got the waste-gate kit to limit my boost to around 10psi, because I'm guessing with the 20% OD crank pulley, that the boost may exceed the safe boost limit for a stock Coyote on pump gas. But at my altitude, I may have spent another 500 bones on a waste-gate that'll never even open, hahaha.

Anyways, I think I saved around 400 bucks, so if your on the fence about something like this their sale lasts until Monday I believe!!

Did you option for the blk Paxton or ust the matte alum finish.
I cheaped-out on the black finish and just got the satin finish to sort of justify "to myself" the additional cost of the waste-gate set-up. I may paint it though??

RIP your wallet
It's just the start of "things to come" but it was much cheaper than going with a stage 3 VMP kit, we'll just see how it deliver's here in a few weeks.

That should really give you a bump down low with that setup. Why the 20% O.D., will you be making this a race car after building the motor? A 10% O.D. and a 2.95 on the Paxton SL2200 supercharger would make some wicked boost.

Actually I didn't know they made a 10% OD, hahaha. I have and had in the past other boosted vehicles that fell extremely shy on the boost because of my elevation, and if I do ever go built, I'll probably let down on the compression to enable some more boost. Also with the larger crank pulley I could keep the bigger pulleys on the blower, and not have to worry about belt slip because of the added surface area from the larger pulleys.

Yeah that is pretty similar to my setup, I run a wastegate set at 23psi and spin the blower hard. You will need a really good BOV to dump the extra air during normal driving, maybe even a different spring as it will get jumpy.

I hope your O.D. doesn't have any fitment issues as it may interfere with the tensioner, water pump and air conditioner. Spinning the accessories 20% faster may place a lot of wear and tear on them. If you haven't yet you may want get outside diameter dim of that O.D. and check clearances.

The OD of the 20% is 8.074", stock is 6.78"

20% od? Holy crap, that's a big balancer! When does the cage go in? Lol.
I might call them Monday and see if I can change my order to a 10% OD unit.

I run the 20% as well and you'll be fine. The install on the units isn't too bad at all and there are some really good detailed write-ups showing the steps.

Anybody have the compressor specs for the SL2200 Paxton head unit? If I go to Paxton's site, it'll give you the specs for the non SL units, then when you click on the NOVI SL it'll just give you the kits that include the SL head unit, but no specs on the compressor's

Sounds like a logical solution given that it doesn't add too much stress on the accessories.

I tried going to the 10%, but the 20% already shipped, hopefully with a 3.8 blower pulley it won't be too out of hand, if so I'll just buy a 10%, and sell the 20%, I think the 20 will work fine though...
