Pics are not small here. The fit your screen size. Post a link to where they are small?

Every pic on the pic whore thread is the normal size. Look at this part of the thread.

https://www.s197forum.com/threads/the-pic-whore-club-knock-before-you-enter.58711/page-724

Attached images look tiny and have all kinds of garbage written next to them.
Attached images should be big and maybe just show the thumbnails at the bottom of the post.
And quoted images show up as thumbnails too, which I can kinda understand, when 14 people in a row all quote the same fucking pic(s) over and over again.

Probably overlooking an option, but is there a way to display the most recent replies first?

Click on "Today's Posts" on the top and it will show you all the new posts for that day.

At least all the posts are in order again. It was annoying reading through a thread and seeing all these newer posts thrown in with old posts.

I personally dont mind the new skin.

This new format sucks! Not user friendly at all and down right unappealing.

What do you not like about it and how is it not user friendly? When I first saw Xenforo come out and hated it to. Just didn't like the look at all. When I first had it installed on one of my other forums, the members didn't like the change either, but they come to like it. Just give it sometime is all I ask.

I believe I can make attached images bigger. Were they bigger on vB as the default attachment size is about the same as what you see now.

He(the guy that is doing the conversion for me) was probably still tweaking the site when you saw it out of wack.

Youre probably right. It was like all of a sudden the posts were out of order and if a member quoted a post the new post would be directly under the post that was quoted regardless if it was the last post or not. This thread is acting normal again so I think its safe to say its fixed.

At least Tapatalk is still working.

Do me a favor, try out the mobile version of the site. Just use your browser and see if you like the layout.

I jumped on my tablet and it didn't seem bad. But I've been on SVTP for awhile and I'm used to the lay out.

I only use mobile and while I liked some of the old layout better I like all the features that are more accessable now.

Oh well, the price of "progress". :(

Just 'cause ya can doesn't necessarily mean you should.

xenforo or whatever is a lot easier to manage than a lot of other forum softwares, so I understand the switch. Mostly I'm sad because all of this info will be gone some time... I should write up a 4.6 3V digest, I guess. I have a lot of good info in a spreadsheet already. Maybe I'll put it on a geocities site!!

it's not just you, I think it must be a data base issue that got messed up in the migration to the new software. If I get a better answer from the guy who did the work I'll update everyone.

here's the added detail:

After initial conversion, the forum has no idea which threads anyone actually read back on vBulletin. (Read thread and forum markers are not part of an import process.) So, it can mis-position you. If that's an issue, you can mark all forum read and then going forward, you should always be positioned at the new replies in threads.

The reason for October is the database only stores a month of read-markers. So, everyone started out with all threads since a month ago being unread.

If people don't use Mark Forums Read, it'll eventually work out as they read things, or as time goes by.
