Am I the only one that absolutely hates the new 5.0 engine cover? It really bothers me! Lol

When reading article and looking at the pictures first thing I always see is that new engine cover. If I ever owned a 2018, that's coming off on day 1!

I've heard it looks fugly under the cover thanks to the DI. Agree that the cover looks bad though, I wont be surprised to see an aftermarket cover made by someone eventually

Someone send me a cover, please. ;) I can make one out of aluminum, depending on how complex it is.

507 rwhp is nuts for na. That's 633.75 crank hp, if you calculate using the typ 80% eff for an auto.
507 /.8 = 633.75 crank hp. For a manual with 12% loss, then it's 633.75 x .88 = 557.7 rwhp. Either way, that's a bunch. IMO, that's ample for ss / street use. With no PD blower involved, then no huge expenditure on a PD blower, and it's associated IAT issues in warm /hot wx. And no extra 100 lbs of weight added onto the front end. With the typ 2 gallons in the IC /HE loop, that's another aprx 16 lbs thrown into the mix.

Yeah, what any car makes on E85 is useless to me.

True. E85 is unobtainium in most towns. Everything has to be SS to even use it, so it's not practical.
E85 is typ 105-107 octane, so it's cheap race gas.

Congrats on the A10, if I could afford one, I would say as the old timers say "you have arrived"

Totally agree. But that's just my personal preference, a high revving NA v8. Once you get the sound of the exhaust the way you like it. I never turn on radio...
If you drag race I totally get power adders though.
