Here is a customer's review of the Steeda CAI & Tune - real feedback/testimonial!
Review: Bought the Steeda cold air and SCT X4 for my 2012 Mustang GT automatic car. I have had 4 Mustangs to date all with different degrees of upgrades. Two 06 cars with Saleen superchargers. The 2012 current car started with a Procal tune, then the Steeda cold air with the X4 tune. Last week I finally installed Steeda custom 91 octanes to see the difference between the boxed X4, and the Steeda tune. I could not believe the difference. This car is chirping the tires shifting to 3 rd gear and I am running 285 Michelins living at 5500 feet in elevation. Car now runs like a Mustang should. Really impressed with the Steeda tune and cold air kit.

That aluminum tube is going to be prone to heat soak. Best to make it out of all plastic. Not to mention the stocker is plenty good. We all know that the vast majority of a CAI/tune hp/torque increase is from the tune anyway.

Yes, the tune is is a great source of the power but the CAI also offers a nice increase - we did the following dyno graph where the results show a “peak” gain of only 5 horsepower, but there is a lot more there if you read the dyno sheet. Gains started at about 4,500, with gains of 6 to 9 horsepower between 4,500 and 5,000. Between 5,300 and 6,100 gains were 7 to 10 horsepower. And between 6,700 and 7,200 the gains were an impressive 12 to 15 horsepower. So you can see measurable gains from a cold air intake.

We have done heat soak tests & compared to other popular brands on the market ... we were cooler both at the start and the end of the tests after heat soaking both kits in city driving is South Florida heat

Great, proven kit!

I've owned 7 Stangs since '88. I've tried tunes from 4 other makers before going w/Steeda. 3 of my last Stangs were equipped w/Steeda tunes & CAI's and IMHO, they are the best of all. Great power, high quality stuff, good customer service, no issues EVER w/the tunes like detonation/pinging, just really, really good/strong performance. I'm not sure what type of magic goes into Steeda stuff but it's good magic, fer sure.

I'd give Steeda consideration for my GT500 too but I'm afraid of it gaining more HP than I really want/need!

STEEDA rocks.

Not trying to slam Steeda. I had several SN95s. I used the Tri-Ax on all of them. That is a great product.

LOL....really? What a complete shill.

Not a shill at all for Steeda but very respectful of their products. My GT500 is a daily driver and already has sufficient power, sometimes too much for normal driving conditions. IMHO and for my purposes, it doesn't need 100+ more HP, which is what the Steeda CAI/Tune/Pulley would bring. That's the only reason I won't be going Steeda for a CAI set-up. If I was looking to build a rocket, you can bet Steeda would be at the top of the list, sport.

I'm gonna pass on Steeda with how they forced Jason to stop his production of his supercharger manifold spacers. Shitty way of applying patents to something different because they don't have the $ to fight bs like that

Companies have the right to protect their intellectual properties. That is why patents are filed.
