Just to clarify I did do a quick search on here and couldnt find the answer I needed.

anyway...I have some 26x11.50-17 Mickey Thompson bias ply ET Streets for the track...what's the best tire pressure to run in them for the best times at the track. Last season I was launching the car around 6k and cutting only 1.75 60s...this year I want to get into the 1.6Xs launching off a 2 step set at I believe 5000 to 5500...what do you guys recommend?!

I ran them last weekend at 15psi, and got 1.588 through 1.66 sixties. The 60ft went down as my launch rpm went up...

I THINK 5750--I recall posting here somewhere while it was fresh in my mind. That's still fairly low and some folks launch at 7000.

I'd just start them at 15psi then work up or down from there. Might even start at 16psi.

As stated before every car is different. With my setup I run 28 by 11.5 by 15. I run 12-15 psi. Any lower than 12 and my car floats all over just a bit much to my liking.

Yeah the last time I ran at the track I believe I only had 12lbs in and mine was floating all over the track as well....didnt like it to much...I think I'll try 15 and see what happens

Try dropping it to 12, thats what psi I run in my tires and it works awesome for my setup. Also not sure what suspension mods you have, but that may be the cause of your wheel spin as well.

Start with 11-12 PSI. Keep adding half a lbs each run until you get a little slip at launch. That's probably perfect once you get there.
