I can tell you this. I was running consistant 12.70s @ 113.2, 112.7, 112.9 in spring type air tune only (VMP). I added an o/r x pipe and cold air kit. I then ran solid 12.40s @ 114.9, 114.7. 114.04. The air was almost identical each time out. D.a was around 1800 ish both time.
take that as you...
BBR and VMP- I can't say if one made more power than the other, but in a couple of weeks I will be track testing both in Gainesville. The VMP is just smoother and a better daily driver. The BBR is a bit more aggressive on the 1-2 shifts. I like them both, just prefer the VMP for daily driving.
Kinda what i thought
Thats about how long it took for mine. I will say my manual 2011 5.0 still felt faster, but I also had a Bassani full exhaust and a cold air on that car. I am sure those 2 items probably added a little power.
Im telling ya this tune has taken a while to learn I guess. It will now annihilate the tires in first and gets a little side ways in second. It did not do that the first day I added it on the car. It may seem funny and yes i did check to make sure trac control was all the way off and ac off as...
Was it immediate?
My did do those things as well (firmer shifts, rev limit etc) It just seemed it was a more Noticeable diff on the manual car I had versus the auto I own now.
