Glasspacks as resonators...just out of curiosity
I used dynomax bulletts 3/3 in out as reso's- because my mbrp was 2 loud on the gen 1 motor with a orx, 1-7/8" headers, was noticeably less loud with the gen 2 but maybe that was because there was more blower noise with the big red open. switched same time as the the gen 2 shortblock- bunits19714

Kooks black cat back was discontinued- the place in FL I ordered it from said the stainless would take 6 weeks- so I canceled my order and went with the black pypes bomb with resonator tips- wasn't expecting much because pypes is middle to lower quality( In my eyes had a off road x back in 14')...- bunits19714

Pulled the trigger on some kook's cat back system( offroad h and full kooks headers) to replace the mbrp exhaust that only made it about 6500 miles- I sure hope the ole saying is you get what you pay for is true- because they don't give that system away. blew both mufflers had numerous factory...- bunits19714

Brought the car home last wed. from a 4 week stay at the vet- had to have new head gasket , installed and had a trans brake and a 2 step wired in. Was raining of course- Today we had a beautiful 45 degree day and sunny (for MI) So drove it about 25 miles, washed it and played with the newly...- bunits19714

they took pretty could care of me by doing a lil shuffling- I had all the parts there within 2 weeks of the failure- then after that, had the heads to them in less then 21.5 hours from finding out there were junk to a new ready to bolt on set sitting on their bench. no, they were factory gen1's(2014) the new head is a boss casting with mild upgrades- on the bench at the tuners where I sat mine down there is a set of slawko's going on another engine on the stand next to mine- they looked like art work. both heads are junk broken cam towers on both sides- was told there was coolant in the engine oil as well- should get a pic after they pull the heads off- new heads look good- not as nice as the slawko ones setting on the bench next to my boss heads but definitely better than the gen1 on the...- bunits19714
