    Question is how did he get the original off to begin with? A stock spring is usually taller than a stiffer spring. He just impact the thing off and notice notice all the store energy when the mount came loose?

    A spike isn't really rpm based. It's usually caused by a gate setting that is too close to target pressure. But then quickly falls to where it should be. 10 dropping to 6 w rpm sounds like a back pressure issue. Guessing it starts around 5k or so. W a real boost spike it lessens w more gearing...

    If you do that and head up in altitude, then Ur just fucked lol A compressor map is a compressor map. Doesn't matter what drive it's compressors But even w the same boost level they will be down on mass as well, just like a pullied down blower. It takes a bit to wrap your head around.

    You don't count the loss twice. You have a pressure loss from thinner air, compared to the same blower speed at sea level. On top of that there is mass loss into the engine at the same boost level. So bring your boost up to the same level and it will still be down on power. But pressure drop is...
