Tune caused your misfire on a single cylinder? I do have a bama tune, did you have them send a new one or did you go through someone else? Would hate to have to go through someone else since I paid money for lifetime tunes lol.
I'll defiantly look into fixing the pigtails permanently here soon
Hello everyone, I bought my stang last october and it randomly misfires only on cylinder one. I have changed spark plugs and swapped the coils around. It runs good 90% of the time, about once a week it will misfire sometimes on startup or after driving it around for 10-15 minutes. At times...
I'll defiantly be considering these. Really thinking about the fr500s, borla stingers, or SSS exhaust. Still want to keep the loudness but clean out the sound a little and drone.
WTB some different axle backs or catback exhaust for a 2005-2009 mustang. I have a custom exhaust similar to slp loudmouths (previous owner installed) on there now with o/r x and the drone is unbearable! I'm open to anything, I love loud and can bare with a little drone.
When I first got my car it had a HUGE exhaust leak. Made the car feel like it was falling on its face on the highway. It just didn't run like it should. Check around for leaks, mine were at the headers, put new gasket it on it and I was set! Good luck!
Installed the percy gaskets today.... NO LEAK!! Thanks everyone for the suggestions. Now to move on to the annoying whine in the rear axle, I believe there is a TSB for it though.
Would I apply this between the gasket and the engine block or between the gasket and headers? I actually used some of this on the outside of the headers where the leak was. I used ford racing gaskets from american muscle.
New to the forums, been lurking around for a while. Recently bought an 07 mustang 4.6l with a major exhaust leak on the bbk shorty headers. Replaced the Header gaskets since the old ones were in pieces. After tightening the bolts from a couple heat cycles it is still leaking between the exhaust...
