how many bus lengths did you put on him?

I just went with the Motorcraft one when I replaced it. I remember picking it up off the counter and was amazed by how light it is, and wondered why the hell people are spending tons of money on lightweight batteries when the factory battery hardly weighs anything

yeah i love it too. the grip is way better, and it just feels nice. plus some of my old buttons were worn out and ghetto looking so having new buttons is a nice addition. glad i went with the gt500 over the boss

Installed my GT500 steering wheel the other day (leather/alcantara) I bought for 230 bucks through my local Ford parts department

The old wheels were some '13-'14 GT500 reps from American Muscle, and the mirrors are just black plastic covers. I wanted a change from my old white ones, figured it matched the black top better

I might have my dealer take a look at it externally. I pay 80 bucks an hour for labor so it won't cost much. I just don't want them to take it apart because that's like 10 hours of labor

Mine isn't even whining, grinding, nothing. No noises at all. I've been driving it like this and have maybe put 500 miles on it since 3rd gear went out and still nothing. Very weird

although seeing the size of the internals vs. size of the case i don't see why broken parts haven't interfered with my other gears

yeah that was the wrong one. however i did find the correct mt-82 manual https://cardiagn.com/mt82-getrag-6-speed-manual-transmission-workshop-manual/ looking at the parts i'm now 100% sure my 3rd gear is just done because 4th gear engages normally

Yes it goes into 4th gear just fine. I guess that means a new tranny for me. Oh well
