Exactly. There's a lot of that discussion going on over at camaro6 right now. Apparently the CTS-V (which is also alpha platform) weighed in at a little over 4,100 lbs even with a carbon fiber hood and aluminum doors, etc. It's kinda fun watching them argue amongst themselves.
Ever since an ATS Coupe weighed in at 34xx pounds, many of them seem convinced that the camaro won't be far from that figure. There are a few sensible ones over that try to insert some logic, but it doesn't seem to be sticking
Probably because the new ones don't come with a turbo that's turned up until it pops, at which point they waddle back over to the local salvage yard and haul out another one, mullet gracefully blowing in the wind. :wt:
I digress...
And yes, the butthurt over at camaro5 is quite...
Good luck tomorrow. I'm probably not going to make it to the track much this year. I've been too busy with other things, and I have a few "small upgrades" planned before I start going to the track regularly again.

Wow, man you did very well on that setup. I may need to hire you to find bargains next time I'm making a purchase like that.
BTW, be very careful where you store your trailer if you have to store it away from your home. somebody stole mine off a lot with a fence, gate, security codes to get...
I run 12 psi in mine as well. weighed 3920 with me in it first trip out (car has gotten lighter since, but haven't re-weighed it). No issues with stability here, but I run bias on both ends.
Thanks guys. When the time comes, I'll definitely have to give them a serious look as their reputation seems top notch. I'm more than willing to pay a little extra if it gets me a better quality engine.
Eventually I'm going to do a built 5.4 4V for my GT500. In the meantime, I keep doing as much research as possible in preparation for the build. I know stkjock has had good luck with his L&M built engine, as have several others on svtperformance. I just wanted to see what others on this board...
