This is weird, I cannot find anything on the 5r55 auto trans difference pre adn post 2/2019.

I have a 2006 gt auto 5R55S, needs new trans. Why are the sites showing that 2008 5R55S is not interchangable with a 2006 Mustang GT. It seems there is a difference pre 2/6/2007 and post but cannot seem to find whats the different. I thought the transmission was the same 2005 -2009? has anyone...

Thanks guys I never thought about re-stalling the stock converter. I'm not boosted just bolt on's currently so low power.

The reason I was considering PA68202, the cost is about the half the Circle D. I am on a tight budget my trans is going out and figured while in there might upgrade. I also looked at Precision Industries and their prices are reasonable as well. I am actually leaning towards the Precision...

Anyone have experience using PA converter? I am doing a 6r80 swap and was going to install a converter. I was talking with PA they recommended a PA68202 but not sure if they make good converters.

No pads just rotors. They are new in box haven't even opened the box.
