I went with the boost a pump over another fuel pump that I have sitting here in a box just for the simplicity of an install over adding the fuel pump. If you are looking at 450-500 max, you can make it there with the bap. Thats just me though.

I've been looking for a built lx for a while now. Good ones are usually overpriced by 5-10k. Looking for a dart,f or ysi blown, 8pt, built auto, etc. Seen too many half way done builds or stock block/t5 combos on s trims looking for 15k. Hard to find a decent one with a legit price.

In case your repair doesnt work out, tasca parts would be considerably cheaper than your dealership parts counter. You were able to take it apart after you loosened those bolts right? Look inside.

My nib ht0/frpp autolites were no where near the .032 the tuner wanted. The .045 is likely. I had to grind down a small feeler gauge thinner to fit into the gap. Think the problem is likely in the tune you are running. Hope your issue gets figured out. May want go ask pbh for a start up tune...

There were plenty of new/packaged 03-04 cobra blue tops that I was able to find before. I think an affordable 39lb and bap is a good priced option for your goal of 450, but i dont think 500 can be hit with the base vortech/paxton non ic. What other supporting mods do you have to get to that...
