    2006 gt front end issues

    You replaced the struts and strut mounts, but did you replace the rubber isolater on the front coil springs? When I did my struts I didn't have the isolater on the spring properly and it made for a noisy ride over bumps until I fixed it.

    GT500 mufflers

    Depends on the year. 2005-2009 gt500 mufflers are the same as Automatic GT mufflers. 2010 gt500 mufflers are a good bit louder and have 4 inch thin wall tips and part no. F1 8143 Going off of the part no. You have (f1 7991) you have 2005-2009 mufflers.

    You lowered it, so you have new springs...did you install the spring isolater (round plastic tubing that goes around the bottom of the front coil spring) properly? I had the same popping sound from the front suspension when I lowered my car and the problem was that little bit of plastic tubing...

    Something that I don't think has been mentioned: You installed new springs, but did you install the isolator (plastic tube that goes around the coil spring)? When I installed new springs, I did not install the isolator properly and it made a popping sound when I went over bumps or took a left...
