    Car Shaking...Next Steps

So, last Saturday my rear end committed suicide...only 75K miles into life. Spider gears, ring and pinion all mangled. So, I sold it off... Long considerations were taken, and I didn't get a Mustang this time around....but still part of the Ford family with this F150. My first brand new...

    Car Shaking...Next Steps

Believe it or not...two tire balances at NTB resulted in no improvement. Took the car to a local mechanic, he balanced the tires again. Low and behold, smooth as glass. All the way up to 115 mph. I'm shocked that a tire specialty shop was not able to balance brand new tires correctly. Sent from...

Unfortunately, removing the retaining clips for the rotors didn't make a noticeable difference. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

    Car Shaking...Next Steps

Thanks for all the input. I'll dig into the shop manual and try that out. Cruising around during lunch, I did notice it's more prevalent at higher speeds. It doesn't taper off like I've seen before with tire balancing issues. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

Aftermarket from AmericanMuscle Rotate every oil change. Nothing has really changed with that. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk You can feel it in the seats and see the shake in my arm with the steering wheel. Unless the rear view is load bearing, I don't think that will be my issue. Ok. I've had the tires rebalanced a few times hoping the issue lied in there, but they've never mentioned a bad wheel. Just got new tires yesterday and they said they didn't see any issues and it balanced fine. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

No change from coasting vs under power. The side to side play from the steering wheel is there but is pretty consistent with how the car feels overall. It's not drastic, just not a smooth ride. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk I never had the wheels checked themselves without the tires...

    Car Shaking...Next Steps

I've got a 4.6 2007 with 73K miles. The past 5,000 miles or so I've been trying to get an issue with my car shaking resolved. So far, I've replaced the rotors and pads all around, replaced the tie rods, got new tires, and replaced front lower control arms with the upgraded GT500s. The handling...

    New Member, 2nd Mustang

Current ride is a 2007 Mustang GT with about 42K miles on it. It has some axle backs on it labeled Shelby, but I haven't found any shelby exhaust kits that match what I've seen on my car. Other than that, it's bone stock. Windveil Blue with an automatic transmission and the Shaker 500 system...
