Nice...I like those. They do seem like a good deal if the weight is correct.

    Vorshlag 2011 Mustang 5.0 GT - track/autocross/street Project

[removed my unrelated rambling spurred by my migraine med induced stupor] Sounds like some politics involved in this OUSCI thing. Very frustrating.

"Coilovers" for mainly street use - durability of KW V3?

I think removing the bumpstops is a bad idea. Even then, unless you had a funky tire/wheel setup that sticks out, yes, I believe the struts would bottom before tires contact the fenders. It seems to be pretty well known that when you approach 2" or more of lowering, you have very little...

"Coilovers" for mainly street use - durability of KW V3?

Awesome, that's the kind of feedback I'm looking for. I've never heard or read about any issues, but there just don't seem to be that many cars out there with the KW dampers on them.

"Coilovers" for mainly street use - durability of KW V3?

Yeah, the Bilsteins are good but if I give up damping adjustment then I want ride height adjustment. Maybe I should look at some of the height adjustable offerings without damping adjustment. I only have about 1500 miles on the current setup and wish I'd have done it differently, so I want to...

"Coilovers" for mainly street use - durability of KW V3?

That kit is ok, but I want to run the car lower than it is now and I don't think off the shelf Koni Sport struts have enough bump travel.

"Coilovers" for mainly street use - durability of KW V3?

I have Koni Sports and some prokit springs on my '14 GT right now, but I like having ride height adjustability among other things offered by various "coilovers". I put that in quotes because I'm not really looking for a true coilover, but what I'm considering are things like the Ground Control...

Slammed on 18s, post your pics!

That looks really good. I always liked those wheels but never thought they would look right on the newer stangs. Yours looks right with them IMO.

Ground Control coilovers - increased bump travel?

Wow, I knew they valve the dampers and give you spring rates according to your wants/needs. No idea they'd set up the struts and/or shocks for your desired ride height.

Ground Control coilovers - increased bump travel?

Simple questions that I cannot find the answer to...sorry if I missed it in my searching. Ground Control states for their coilover package on 2011-2013 Mustangs: 2 Single adjustable, custom valved Konis in Ground Control short strut housings 2 SHORT Koni single adjustable rear shocks...

I don't currently use instagram (I had to look it up), but I think the effects are kind of cool. I used a website that does similar effects to alter a pic I took today just out of curiosity...it looks really cool as a desktop background with black as the background color. Well at least to me...

    285/35/19 All Around?

285's all around won't cause understeer when compared to 275's all around. If the car is neutral with the 275's it will be with the 285's also.

    285/35/19 All Around?

If he runs 285/35 all around, he can still rotate front to rear. As far as fitment goes, I think with the offsets of the SVE wheels it will be fine, but that is not based on direct experience. I have 275/40 on 19x9.5 ET48, no issues. Also may depend on ride height and spring rate, but at...
