    Heavy Clutch Fix

I've not tried a 2015+ Mustang clutch, but I did sit in a late model Corvette and could not believe how light the clutch pedal was. My '09 is still on the OE clutch at 95k (still good and ok pedal) so at some point in the near future I'll be due for replacement. How do these other high...

    Cams... Cams.... CAMS

Yeah, I wish I had at least 3.55 gears. I believe 3.55 was standard for manual transmission GT's from 2005 to possibly 2007. Ford then dropped the standard ratio for manual transmission GT's down to 3.31. I've thought (and priced out) multiple times getting my rear axle gears swapped out to...

    Cams... Cams.... CAMS

To the OP and others that replied with cams, what rear end ratio's do you have? I'm in a similar situation with my '09 GT. Stock other than FRPP CAI. I have a manual transmission with 3.31 gears and like the OP am concerned about loss of low end drivability if I went with either Detroit Rockers...

    Jacking rails part 2

I have a late model RAM and when I installed RAM OEM step bars, they included rivnuts and a tool that sounds just as you are describing. I had roughly 8 rivnuts to install. My experience was that you have to tighten the tool more than a guy would think to properly set the rivnut. These were...

    Mustang gt 2005 cluster insert/overlay

I did not like the old school font that Ford uses on the gauges on my '09 GT and wanted something more like the GT500. Black Cat Custom did one for me. Excellent folks to work with. https://www.blackcatcustom.com/

2012 GT AC Clutch Locks Up Without AC On!?!

Is your mode selector set in Defrost position? Defrost can run the compressor even if the regular AC is off.

    sequential tail light kit

Agree with tabstang. I have the WebElectric kit and it flashes just like the newer Mustangs - but I'm using incandescent bulbs. Their tech support is very responsive. You might send them a note.

Haven't been here in a while, made some changes to the front end of my car (wrecked)

Beautiful car. What wheels were installed in the 'Before' photo?

    Lift points.

Thanks much for the replies. Got a concrete driveway, so I should be set! Now I gotta move quick to get these on my Christmas list...

    Lift points.

I cringe every time I need to jack up my '09 GT. Can't believe this is first I've seen these. So I can put the floor jack under the center of the rail, lift up that side of the car, and then place jack stands at the front and rear?

Thinking my fuel pump might be bad...

Thanks again for the replies. I did another log yesterday on a cold engine. The deviation is still there but the overall average pressure is lower which makes sense as I believe the the PCM increases pressure when fuel is hot to avoid vapor issues. The photo also shows pump duty cycle. Assuming...

Thinking my fuel pump might be bad...

I did contact Brenspeed and was disappointed. The guy told me that he's never even heard of data logging fuel pressure, and then went into this spiel of how these cars have to operate under various altitudes and temperatures and they each have their own quirks. At the end he says "I tell...

Thinking my fuel pump might be bad...

Thanks for the replies. Assuming that the pump is ok (based on Jeremy's comment), is the large swing in frp that I'm seeing normal?

Thinking my fuel pump might be bad...

My understanding of returnless systems is that FRP is reading delta p which is basically the difference between manifold vacuum and pressure in the rail. The system tries to maintain around 39 lbs of pressure across the injectors regardless of changes in manifold vacuum. In the link attached...

Thinking my fuel pump might be bad...

My car is an '09 GT manual transmission with 88k miles on it. Totally stock except for FRPP CAI and Brenspeed tune. Ever since I bought it (75k miles) its had a hesitation that often happens when I first let out the clutch from a stop. Its also a little jerky as I accelerate in first and into...
