Need help! Not sure what to do with my wrecked cobra

I'd be building a very cool sand/desert buggy if it was me!

Best axle backs with long tubes

I ran Pypes long-tubes / catless X-pipe, into factory resonators / ota pipes into MBRP axle backs and it wasn't bad at all, this is at a pretty low rpm at 80 mph 6R80/3.15 rear gears, and 28" tall rear tires. Sounded really good imo, but I don't get off on a noisy set-up, unless your making...

What have you done to your mustang today?

Pulled blower kit and motor while waiting for CPR kit. Took the short-block to the local machinist for some forged rods / pistons, going with stock compression .005 over-bore just to get them round. Sending converter off to be resized sometime this week.

9.60's tweaking my way towards some 9.30's??

Do they fit the wheel well decently, I'm guessing 15" rims?

What did you change tires to, and from?

Anybody run these at the drag strip? MT SS drag radials on factory 18's

https://www.summitracing.com/parts/mtt-3484. They're kinda pricey, but was thinking of running them on my factory wheels, when the car's not wearing the 15" radial pros. I see they have the same compound.

It also has a better cooling effect than gasoline, that effects the actual knock resistance even further than advertised, here's a good read if you get a chance http://www.speedhunters.com/2015/04/everything-you-need-to-know-about-ethanol/

Right, less energy by volume / weight, but higher octane (more resistant to detonaton / pre-ignition) My Ethanol content has varied locally from mid 60's to low 80's. I never change the tune, and the car runs great. A little richer at lower E content, but ethanol also has a much broader stoich...

    Forging the 2012

I just went with the standard stuff, and am happy. I did however go with a straight fitting right off of the pump instead of the provided 90, to let the hose gradually curve around some close-by interference items. Under 20$ at parts stores. I'm in the same boat, I have 4 local E85 stations...

More for safety than power, but I'd guess you could easily see 30 or more at the wheels. The guy who's producing my single turbo kit told me I'd probably see mid 600's on 91 (octane limited), but could get to around 750whp on E85, so take that for what it's worth, but I wouldn't exactly expect...

    Forging the 2012

They're going to tell you to get a fuel system for E85, BAP's should easily cover you at 6xxwhp for gasoline though. It takes approx 30% more E85 do perform the same work as gasoline, depending on the actual ethanol content in the E85. Just FYI the Sai li fuel system was pretty easy to install...

    Forging the 2012

If you're wanting to push it, and if you have E85 in your area, it would at least get the octane threshold out of the equation for potentially destroying your engine. I run it all of the time with 10-11psi without any of the internet issues you hear so much about, but if you kept the boost at 10...
