Got this white rubber flap but as you've stated, it won't stop water from getting to the SJB.
Guess this would be the next best option. Gotta figure out how to get something in there and mounted.
Thank you for the write up & pics! I want to swap out my OEM seats for the Recaros too in the future and this will definitely help. Just concerned with the rear occupants space though. Both my boys sit at the back. I don’t want them to get squeezed for leg room with the Recaros installed.
Don’t mean to thread jack bit i’ve got a question... I’ve got the stock manifold & pypes X-pipes installed. Does this mean if I want to retain the X-pipes I have to only get the pypes headers? The kooks website says the headers have to be used with the kooks x-pipes...

With regards to the filter, if it isn’t damaged, you can get a filter cleaning kit and have it cleaned and oiled. I bought an extra filter for my JLT kit. Instead of waiting for the filter...
I was on stock shocks & eibach lowering springs for over 3 years & didn't experience any bumpsteer. Changed to Koni shocks & didn't experience anything either. Installed BMR A-arms & the bumpsteer was very prominent. After installing a Cortex bumpsteer kit, everything was back to normal.
