Why are you so eager to go to DI? Doesn't the lack of high(er than OE) output DI fuel pumps sort of pose a problem? AFAIK, there aren't ANY on the market for gasoline, and have you seen the prices of the diesel pumps?? I'd think we'd want to avoid DI for the time being.

It's possible I've wildly overpriced this stuff, make an honest offer if you have any interest.

C9OE 351W shortblock. I don't know much about it. What you see is what I have. I've had it in my possession for about 25 years now, has been inside a garage and in plastic bags until recently. Was greased liberally also. The guy I got it from was an engineer for Ford back in the day...

Traded it in. Needed a truck to be able to start doing side work and hopefully start my own buisness. It's difficult to work out of a Mustang, and I don't have anywhere to store it.. Oh well. If I can make some stuff happen, a 2015+ will be a possibility in the near future.

Honestly as long as you stay with an open trailer, practically any 1/2 ton V8 truck or truck based SUV will do the job just fine. 2000 m/y and up, anyways. If you have to tow a lot of mountains and you want an older truck, (toward the bottom of the 2ks), a 3/4 ton or better would be more ideal...

That would be over priced in my market. For some reason verts are around 75% or less of a coupe's price around me.

The 5r55 kind of sucks. If i t has to be auto, stay '11+ to get the 6r80.

What's going on in the lense directly above the fog lights? Haven't noticed it till now, but they seem out of place. Drl's maybe? There is already a turn signal in the headlight assembly.

Don't waste your time trying to convert from one Ford system to another. They all suck. Aftermarket stuff sounds better, is cheaper, is easier to install, and you can select components that suite YOUR needs, not the bean-counters'.
