Ford rep stopped by my house this week to sign me up for an appointment. He will be coming to MY DRIVEWAY to replace both airbags this Saturday. All I did was ask if he could do that and was no problem.
I am in the metroish part of Atlanta....
The wheels kind of fell in my lap, a friend offered his to me for a great price that I literally could not refuse. Figured they would be perfect along with some great tires to learn with during my first year.
Had my second event this past weekend and am really loving this sport. I recently picked up a set of Enkei 18x9.5 +45 wheels and am now on the search for the right tires.
These will only be used to drive to and from the autocross and of course to race on. About 150 miles round trip.
I will...
I have 19x10 AMR's in a square set up with no rubbing. The tire size is 285/35/19.
One caveat as mentioned above is the end link bolts. My car has aftermarket adjustable units so there is no interference.
Go with a name brand. I went this route when I had an 07 and the chin spoiler ripped off on the highway. The plastic is just not as strong.
It came apart where they are mounted.
hmmmm, I am assuming I can separate the arm from the part that the seat belt goes through. It looks like it is possible.....but I haven't tried.
It broke from the mechanism that clicks it up and down (technical terms)
I need the arm that is holding the seat belt for the DRIVERS side. That would be sweet if you had it....let me know via PM how much and where to send the $$
This is just a pic I found on the internet
