This is going to take some getting used to. First thing I noticed is that I cannot mark individual forums as read, which was a really useful feature when certain vendors would spam the board with machine gun posts. Second thing is when looking at 'new posts' it's difficult to see which sub forum the post is in. The text is muted and almost the same tone as the background. After reading the title of a new thread I'll usually see which sub forum it is in before deciding if I want to read it or not.

I'm sure there are all sorts of fancy new gizmos and functions that some 13 year old tech geek will just love, but I'll probably never know (or care). I certainly hope this surprise 'upgrade' doesn't run off the few remaining long term members we have left.

yep, wish we could block the posts from alot of vendors, would certainly clean up a bit around here.

The "Mark Forums Read" link at upper left has dual options when you are in a forum section. It will allow you to either mark that section read (the default) or Mark all forums read.

The text is muted and almost the same tone as the background
The "muted" attribute has been removed from that second line (under thread title), and the forum section name is now a little brighter.

I tried the 'mark forum read' link while in the sub forum I wanted to mark read, it marked all posts read for the entire board. How do I make it work for individual sub forums?

Yup, just looked again. If I have the option to mark a single forum as read then it isn't obvious to me where to find the link. I don't see it.

FULLY DRIVEN NETWORK

It's been nice knowing y'all. My next build might be a 5.0 for my ranger - many fewer questions! I think I can do that without the internet :D.

Except for colors it's the same as the SVTperformance forum, and it sucks.
I stopped going there weeks ago cuz it's so NOT user-friendly.
Pictures are small and make you have to click on them to see them, the "User CP" is all changed and nothing's where you expect it, the posts look all weird ... WTF???

Thanks Shaggy !!!

Fucking profanity filters?!?!?. The fucking hell is this fucking bullshit??!?? We're all fucking adults that use what ever the fuck language we want right? Nope. Someone has to "filter" us.

EDIT: Interesting. Some profanity is filtered...some is not.

Yeah I don't like this layout at all.

As much as I hate it, this forum has been slowing down a lot, hate to lose all the knowledge in this forum. But it feels like this is gonna die soon, at least in the way it has been, it may be here, but will be like mustangforums.com and filled with bs

Sorry for not giving you all a heads up. Dropped the ball on that one. If you have any questions about the new Xenforo software, please let me know.

There are a few other layouts that you might like. Just scroll down to the bottom of any page and you will see on the left, above the black footer, a text saying S197 Light. Click on that and a list of other skins will pop up to choose from.

What did you try to post in the censored text?

Pics are not small here. The fit your screen size. Post a link to where they are small?

Every pic on the pic whore thread is the normal size. Look at this part of the thread.

One of the reasons I liked the old one was it was simple and had no frills

Sort of the way every forum goes. The same thing was the beginning of the end for the "probetalk" forum back in the day as well as 460ford.com.
