How did it handle when the outside temp was in the low 20's ? Below freezing and supercharger, usually don't belong in the same sentence. Glad you made it back safe and sound.

Congrats Terry !

Thank-You .....

I'm enjoying the change and it was time IMO as I'm on the far side of a person's life cycle.

No-Worries at all as I simply drove it per the Hellcat (Break-in-instructions) exactly.

So for the 1st 300 miles I was never really over even 60 MPH.
That put me way away from Ohio and the colder weather.
Also I really doubt the S/C was doing much of anything as I was varying the speed following the Semis from Low 40's to Max 60 MPH.

So far I have only actually heard the S/C twice. LOL !!!

It still has less than 500-miles on it.
Below is the latest up-date for those interested.

I will NOT be doing Pictures or a lot of Text here on this thread about the Hellcat guys.
I will provide the Links as long as the (Owner & Mods) don't mind me doing that.

Congratulations Terry! We of course want a full report once you have had your seat in the saddle for a bit.
Scott,

I'll make some Limited comments but Not pictures or lots of discussions on the Hellcat.
If anyone wishes to discuss it simply go over to that Hellcat.org internet site.
Most of my long term car buddies are now over on it talking with me.

Terry

Looks good Terry
Hello Jim,

Appreciate it buddy.
I know a lot of you guys have no reason at all to go over to the Hellcat.org internet site.
So thought I'd post some pictures of it completed as of yesterday late afternoon when I picked it up.

I do still own the 2008 Bullitt Mustang if anyone is wondering.

Looks great, thanks for sharing.

Hi Andrew,

No-Worries It's not that I'm to lazy to share buddy.
It's simply that this internet site is for Mustangs NOT Hellcats.
So, I'm just not going to Abuse the site but thought maybe some pictures might be okay as long as I don't get carried away with them or lengthy text.
You guys know if you are really interested you can simply go over on my main thread on the Hellcat Internet Site as it does have the Full-Blown Post.

I agree with your approach and have been to the other site to look. I hope your Bullitt does not sell (if you can swing it financially to keep both)

First thing that came to mind after seeing this, was the clip below:

Sorry, not sorry.
That looks horrible.
If you really need to advertise that bad that it's a HELLCAT, maybe install a HUGE Hellcat flag hanging off the front bumper?

Nice terry! Like some of others, the Hellcat graphics are too much for me but it's your car and if you like them that's all that counts.

Terry, I really hope you don't take offense here.. However I totally agree with Gabe and feel the Hellcat graphics is just over the top and overkill.. Anyone who's a car guy like yourself should know full well that what you have is a Challenger/Hellcat by just looking at the fender badges alone.. Also the last thing you need is any unwanted attention by law enforcement as those graphics will indeed become a cop magnet to say the very least.. Anyhow just my honest opinion.

Definitely a 'cop magnet' with those graphics!:D

Hey guys,

Here is what I actually think and for those interested your opinions are your opinions and you have as much right to them as I do mine that's for sure.

As far as me being concerned over it looking like an advertisement to all Law-Enforcement to (Write-me-a-Ticket).
That I will have to say is definitely IMHO true guys.
The difference with me at this stage in my life is simple I'm not any-longer driving like a maniac.
Yes, guys I'm older and I know it and simply am not all that interested in racing it or driving the crap out of it.
So, Law-Enforcement to me is just that, Law-Enforcement and I doubt we will be Butting-Heads.

So, with the above being said I luv the side graphics and I do know they are what you could say, (In-Your-Face) sort of thing.
That's just me as this is like some of you said, mine.
If I wanted a much more subtle Hellcat I sure would have not been hunting for the Bright Yellow which is an In-Your-Face color for sure.
Well the other things I was hoping to find but didn't have much hope were, no summer-performance-tires or Satin Painted Hood from Chrysler.
I lucked-out on BOTH those factory options as the Hellcat was in Ohio so they don't order them with the 1K dollar Summer ONLY Performance Tires thank goodness.
They also don't order them with the $2K dollar Pain-in-the-Ass near impossible to maintain Satin Painted Hood.
Those two options cost $3K dollars both in my case would be a waste of monies.
Regarding the Hood Wrap as well as the Side Graphics guys they serve a couple of purposes.
One is to break-up the Challenger Hellcat Yellow broad expanse of Yellow as the Challenger is a larger car.
The other reason I chose the exact Graphics was simply because I luv them and as some of you pointed-out it's mine.

There's one thing I have learned over my 72 yrs guys there will hardly ever be a time when anyone of us does something that (Everyone) will like it.
That's why there are the different brands of cars, colors, and certainly options for those cars.
And then we also have the After-Market where many of us choose to Personalize our individual car.
It would be a really boring world if anyone of us chose the car for all of the rest of us and we all had to live with that one person's choice.

So, in my case your opinions are just that as they should be and no they don't offend me at all.

Merry Christmas Guys,
Terry

Maybe it's an age thing (although you have a couple of years on me), but I like the Hellcat graphic.
