So I have the factory GT sway bars on my ‘08 C/S right now but in my garage I have a front bar off my old Bullitt. Now I know the Bullitt had better stuff on it but I have never found actual numbers for the difference in rigidity.

Anybody know if the Bullitt sway bar is worth my time installing? If it’s not noticeable then I may just leave it on the shelf..

measure the diameter of both, if the Bullitt on is thicker it should provide a small upgrade

The 2008 GT, Bullitt and Shelby GT sway bars all have the same part numbers.

The 2008 GT500 and GT500KR sway bars are larger and have the same part numbers.

As stated the Bullitt and GT are the same. But I have a GT front bar with extra holes drilled in make it stiffer. If you are interested, I'd sell it for $20 plus shipping (maybe another $20). I ended up going with Strano adjustable bars front and rear and stiffer springs. So I no longer need this.

Or you could drill out your Bullitt bar and get the same result. But the material is very hard on drill bits and the hole needed is relatively big. So its not as easy as it sounds. I had mine done by a machinist buddy. So the hole location is accurate. It worked well for me and has low miles and looks almost new (summer weekend car only)

If your interested, I can post pics or pm me. Its a cheap upgrade with no other parts needed.
