Does anyone know the part numbers for these or if it's even a Ford part?

Or anything that is similar or better?

I'm looking to hold the engine to drop the k-member and do some other stuff.

The motor mount brackets are coming off as well so can't hoist it to that either.

When I did my K-member I used a piece of wood under the pan with a jack.

Something like this ^ is what is normally used. If you use an engine hoist, you have to work around the legs under the car. Working around 1 floor jack in the middle is hard enough. Having 2 legs on the sides makes it very hard.

I've seen tech at my old job use something like this to hold the engine while they were dropping the subframe or whatever the reason.
It sits on the tops of the inner fenders.

And while that ^^^ one is a Harbor Freight version at $75, I'm sure a better unit is available, although maybe for more money.
This HF unit has great reviews by the way.

A bunch of different choices on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/s/?ie=UTF8&k...vtargid=kwd-1791741161&ref=pd_sl_59w8fvknhz_e

With the engine being alum. I would using the chains provided try either a bolt location on the front of the head or wrap it around one or two header tubes with care. I would jack up it up, unbolt the motor mounts and then let it down SLOWLY with the brace in place and check that everything is good.

Here is a setup from ebay

LMR has this setup

When I originally did my K member I also just placed a board on my floor jack and supported under the pan. However when lifting the motor I always use the two alternator studs at the front of the motor and the two bell housing bolts to hold the back.

Do the 4.6 blocks have the same mounting bolts for the brackets?

when i dropped my K member i used a harbor freight support engine stand and just used ratchet straps around the header tubes.
if you are worried the exhaust method not strong enough. wrap a ratchet straps around the engine on the front of the oil pan along with the exhaust tubes.

I'm going to be dropping the k-member, removing headers, and oil pan all at the same time so all those mounting suggestions won't work. That's why I was looking for the brackets that bolt into the block.

Remove header, reinstall 1 bolt, hang chain off bolt.
Repeat on other side
