I have a a person selling me some jba longtube headers and a mid pipe. 400 for headers and 120 for mid pipe. They been on the car for like 35k miles. Do you guys think that's a good price? What do you guys think? I already know someone selling a good pair of headers and mid pype for 500 they are mac headers and prochamber mid pipe. And he coated them. Which one would you guys get? And why? I'm thinking about going with the mac headers to be honest

Are they in really good shape? I mean it is all relative. I think that is way high for a used set of pipes, but I only spent $525 on my header mid-pipe combo brand new. Now I didn't need stainless but I hate how much people charge for exhaust components these days. I've had these on the car and they look like the first week I had them.

Anyways, I don't put a high value on used parts and tend to give shit away if I don't have a use for it, but that's me. I think the only thing that I ever charged for was a sway bar and it was pretty cheap. When I pulled my CAI off my car I gave it to the person who could write me a story on why they deserved it. That was kinda fun. I have a list of parts that have been given to folks for the mere reason that they needed it and I had it laying around. Just gave a brand new BMR driveshaft loop to a member here for a charity donation. So yeah, I think its too high for 3-4 year old exhaust.

Are they plain (non coated) JBA's? If so then that's not a very good deal at all. You can find plain JBA's for $500 or less everywhere, and if it's an off road H pipe they're only $160 new. I just bought 304 stainless JBA's off ebay for $500.

Whoa, yea lowball him otherwise its not worth it. Is that surface rust or are they just dirty? Being 409 stainless a little rust is normal but not the entire header.

I still think his price is too high, I'd just buy new at that price point.

Headers are such a PITA to install -- with 35,000 miles on them, those headers' best days are long past -- if they fail, you're looking at another PITA labor job. In that event, you'll end up losing time and money...
