Hated the feel of the lock nut on shifter so I took and old boot retainer and cut the flange off flipped it upside down and used that for the lock nut. Feels 100% better. This setup will hold me over until my Roush shifter arm comes in next week.

Your drag radials lasted 7 years and aren't BALD yet?
Nearly bald now. I probably should have replaced them before, as you may guess, I don’t drive the car often, nor spin the tires much the last few years.

Got my Roush shifter arm installed. Night and day difference in shifts and no lock nut to worry about since I'm running a plain Jane aluminum shifter knob. I was really on the fence about this because it was as much as the entire Roush shifter assembly ($70 off Ebay surplus sale) I installed a few months back, but now I wish I'd done it sooner. Rows through the gears like butter now.

Finally got around to installing the exhaust clamp I picked up from Doug. Man, that Pype clamp was a piece of shit. Nice and snug now. Thanks again Doug.

Last week when I was running the car in the storage garage I noticed a fairly large pool forming under the car behind the front tire- had a pretty good fuel leak- it was coming from the regulator but not sure exactly where- today I tracked it down to a side plug that was leaking- it was a 7/16 hex head plug- went to 4 stores before I finally found a 7/16" hex head . turns out it was just loose made about 1.5 turns to snug it down. Leak fixed- hindsight being blind sometimes I should of bought a bolt with a 7/16 head and ran a double nut on the end and used this to snug the plug for less than a $1 in material- instead of the 17$ kit I had to buy that I finally found had a 7/16 in it- bright side at least I have it now. Car is schedule for trans surgery on the 5th of March along with a slue of suspension and chassis upgrades.

Got the rear bumper cover installed Saturday night. Everything went smooth except for drilling out the rivets. No matter what size bit or what speed I used they all wound up getting hot and spinning. Overall, I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. Got rid of the bump that the trunk hit and scuffed every time I closed it and of course no more chipped/flaking paint.

Sounds good, but no Pics?????

I had to move my car to a different storage unite because it leaked water on my car. I had to put the batt back in, move the car and clean it and pull the batt back out.

Drove the ole girl 90+ miles one way to the vet where she will get - new trans guts, converter, k member and A arms, Viking front coil overs and rear shocks, new upper CA mount, spool and 35 spline axles, welded tubes, new rpm belt, boost gauge, and some new tuning. Was a nice drive, but man the drive back in the 17' f-150 was definitely way more comfortable... Hopeful have it back in about 3 weeks.
