It's all coming together now. Been a bit since I have posted any photos. Here's all the updates up to yesterday.

Will be a few posts. Only allowing 5 pictures at a time. This is after the frame inspection. All the drywall. Living room, kitchen, dining room (you can see the walk way we added last picture), hallway to laundry room and kids rooms.

Here is it painted. It's a light grey with a white trim. Was finished Friday last week at that point. Went back Tuesday and saw all of the cabinets were done and the stone was put on.

Got all the outlets and switches. Bathroom mirrors in. Ready for toilets and sinks. Garage in. Also our studs for the hurricane shutters are all installed. Exterior lights done. They also prepared the driveway and smoothed it out. Should be getting poured soon.

Master bath, bathroom ready for the crappers lol. And last is the having light I never noticed till leaving lol. Also kitchen has very nice recessed lights which I didn't take a picture of lol.

But now just need flooring, toilets, and the sinks with a little tidying up inside. Then sprinkler system and well for the sprinklers, grass and trees and shrubs, driveway and walkway to front door poured, then it's basically ready to move in. Well need power still lol. Oh and garage door opener and well pump, hot water heater. Probably a few little things I forgot but they are moving really fast and looks amazing!

I do commercial doors and hardware. Mostly just hardware at this point for me. But they are a a decent window. Not the bottom of the market, nor the top of the market window. A solid mid market product. Any warranty issues have been handled quickly (all inbound packages cross my hands except truck loads) so I usually see the good and the bad.

Thanks and good to know. I know they are much better than what's at our rental. Seems that these have a slight tint to them. Sorta like a thermal or something. All I know is they aren't straight clear and seem slightly tinted. Which I like. Makes it a little harder for others to see into our house from the road.

The tinting is probably to prevent heat gain especially as far South as Florida is.

Okay, that's what I was thinking.

We are doing tile in the bathrooms, laundry room, and kitchen. Everything else will be carpet. Once the two kiddos are older we will probably do hardwood.

Thanks

coming along nicely do you have a move in date
Not yet. We will have a definite date once FPL connects the power to our house and that should be this week. But we are to move out of our rental April 22nd and they believe we will be right in that window.

I tried to get my wife to let a moving company do the moving for us but she can be stubborn at times. We moved our stuff and it was a long two days. You don't realize how much crap you have until you move. Now that were at the house we built and moved we would have to hire a company. My pole barn has shit in it, tractor with implements, hot tub, and three bedrooms furnished completely. Atleast until our 16 year old moves out

House looks great...came along nicely and great coverage w/all the updated & pics. Pretty soon you'll be living in this beauty. IMO, based on doing our last move 100% by ourselves, hire it. It was one of the most exhausting/demanding/stressful 4-days of my life and I never want to repeat. :D
