Can someone tell me exactly which colored wire I need to tap into to activate the 2-step with the clutch depressed?

This for a 2007 GT.

All I can find is info for the Coyotes and I checked for the wires and the colors are different.

I don't want to start tapping the wrong wires around and make it look messy.

Thanks!

IIRC...all you need is a power wire for the unit and a ground. I used a micro switch under the clutch arm. For the rpm pick up I went right off a write going to the coils.

Since then it has been switched out to an add a fuse kit so it goes off its own power source.

I'm not looking to add any switches , just need to know which colored clutch wire is the correct one.

Everything I could ever learn about that system showed people adding a switch. I never understood why that was.

Montreal Qc,
Give me a few minutes.
I'll go check my 05.

Correction.
I added a reed switch with a magnet on the clutch pedal.
It's been so long I couldn't remember.

Sorry I guess I did add a switch.
I edited my post above with a photo.

Did it come with the switch? So when it is fully depressed it enables? I plan on having an interrupt to latch toggle it on and off as well as an arm/disarm.

No it's a reed switch for a window contact for a home alarm system.
What do you mean by latch toggle?

I wouldn't want the 2 step engaged for any prolonged time.
You're injecting fuel into the engine without spark above the set limit.

Why are you guys adding a switch (just a humble question), is it to prevent accidentally activating during normal driving conditions?

So your reed switch basically acts like the oem clutch switch right? But it's just for the 2-step only?

I’ll have the switch on the clutch pedal, as well as a latch type mounted in the center console to enable it. My goal is that without the latch button enabled depressing the clutch still won’t allow the 2-step to activate. You would essentially need to “arm” it.

Why do you want to add the extra switch for though? What's the benefit?

There is no need for a failsafe.
You still need to step on the gas to get the rpm up.
No stepping on the gas the rpm doesn't rise.

If you don't floor the gas you won't even know that the 2 step is there.

I see what you are saying. Is there ever a need to have it operate where the 2-step does not engage? Such as a higher rev clutch dump? I was thinking having the ability to turn it off and on would be beneficial.

Mine is setup for 5,500 rpm.
If I go back to the track this year I may try switching over to a WOT box to see if I can shift without lifting off.

The no lift shift will blow your mufflers out and at the very least get you accused of drive by shootings
