It’s the 2.9L gen 3. I originally planned for the vmp, but TSS talked me into the whipple. You can’t go wrong with either setup IMO.

Dropped off the wheels and tires today to get mounted and balance and ready to drop off at the shop working on the car. Got to love firestone being open on Sunday. Time will tell if the 325 race masters will hook or not. I like the forge star drag wheels should look good on the car. I have always been a mickey Thompson fan but wanted to go with a larger tire for 1/2 mile events than a 275 and pro's are not allowed at most 1/2 mile events.

My rears were on the tread wear marks and making a shit ton of road noise (I initially thought I was losing a bearing) so I threw on my old Bullitts I had sitting in the attic and I'll be damned if I don't like them more than the aftermarket rims. I'm sure I'll change my mind in a year or so, but I'm super happy.

Installed the new BMR rear springs and rear lower control arms that I've had for a couple/few months ... the front springs and new swaybar bushings are getting done soon. Car's still on jack stands and the weather is supposed to finally be warming up starting next week ...

Hey I did that same job last year. BMR springs and LCA's. I like those springs a lot.

Last night I got my exhaust more or less all back on. Looks like it will line up much better with these headers than the old ones.

Too bad we're supposed to get 2-4" of snow between tonight and tomorrow, and the weather's not getting better for awhile. Sigh

After washing it this weekend (I knew it was going to rain but I just couldn't stand it any more) I noticed that my bumper cover was off above the side marker lights. Turns out the tab on both sides was under the lip instead of on top. Don't know how I missed that initially. I was able to get the screws out with a stubby screwdriver without having to remove the wheels.

Gabe, those BMR springs with LCA's are awesome. IIRC weren't you running Steeda sport springs? Just curious if the BMR's are considered a higher quality spring over the Steeda sport springs

Weather-wise, we're pretty much in the same boat, as we're expecting 1-3" of snow between tonight and tomorrow morning lol.
