The motocraft replacements I ordered as "direct fit" from RockAuto worked the same as the OEM sensors I pulled out. I'll have to post a side by side pic of each.

I can't even remember what the oem ones look like. It's been so long and I've gone through a few sets.

Well now I am having a completely different issue which makes he car pretty undriveable. I think it has to do with the cam timing but I'm going to do some searching before I go any further.

What is it doing? Any codes?

Only code I got so far was the infamous P0345 code. I doubt it is an alternator issue because I haven't had any of the other normal alternator issues that I have had with the last 4 or 5 I've had on there. I can't data log right now so it is making it hard to pinpoint. I replaced the sensor already. She seems to run real rough at times, like a diesel about to die. I hear a slight rattling sound coming from that side of the motor when it does that. What does a cam phaser sound like when going out? I haven't driven the car more than 1/2 mile so no other codes have come up yet. I suppose as shitty as it's driving I could take it around the block a few times at different engine loads and see if I can get one to pop up.
