I like the idea of the "square" setup - those rims are 9.5" wide, correct?

Correct, 45mm offset, F&R. I recently bought a low mileage '07 with 10 years of parts including 3 sets of these wheels/tires from a friend. After I realized the wheels were not staggered width, I gave it a try with 285's all around. I like the set-up so much I bought a matching pair of tires to run square on both '07's I currently own. I now have a set of 4 front 255 tires for sale, LOL!

Mine (285/35/19 square setup) did fairly well on the road course.

Very happy with them.

Great looking car with the black on silver. What nose and hood is that?

Thanks!
It's a rare Veilside (Fast & Furious) full carbon fiber body kit. It was their attempt to enter the domestic arena. Only 4 kits are known to have made it for sale in the U.S., this is the only full carbon fiber kit known to have been installed. The others were fiberglass. The hood, rear spoiler, fog replacement funnels and all the side skirting (look black in pics) are clear coated carbon fiber. Roush teamed up with Valvoline and raffled off another version in fiberglass, no carbon fiber.

This one was sponsored by Vortech and other manufacturers . At one time used by the Air Force for recruiting.

I purchased it 7 years ago from the original builder. The body kit alone was $7,000 plus shipping from Japan. The recession put them out of business in the U.S.

The front is stretched to match the hood, one can't be used without the other.

Montreal Qc,
I ran 275/40 18 Michelin Pilot Sport PS2's on all 4 corners of my 05 using 18x9 Steeda ultralight wheels.

I would do it again if I was running 18's.

Running the same wheel all around will roughly double the life of your tires with proper rotation.

You will be happy with the Firestones. Had them on my 07 GT. Great handling on the corners and never felt them slip on wet roads. I also ran them for 60k miles. Very good tire for daily driving.
