The stock cat back is back in, thank 6lb 8oz baby Jesus. I wonder what the power difference, it's hard to tell by the butt dyno. I tried to smash on it merging onto the highway today with a recent rain and the car instantly got loose, I suppose they aren't that restrictive. They hide the popping I was hearing with the dumps really well. The problem pre-existed, I could hear it clearly today at at part throttle accelerating now that I'm looking for it.

Imagine a picture of me holding a billet FTI converter as if it is my newest child.
Actual pictures to come.
Minus me.

Got the ProMax wired in, sensors and all. I'll finalize the install inside the car once I verify it's functioning as it should.
My converter finally came in too, I may actually be more excited about the converter than the nitrous install, lol.
Converter goes in tomorrow and then the testing starts...well once I go pick up a mother bottle it will.

Installed a full 3 inch header back exhaust. I have Pacesetter headers, I previously had the matching H-pipe from Pacesetter and my factory cat back system.
I spent a lot of time researching and looking at pictures before figuring out what would work with my headers and just plain work for me.
I choose the JBA 3 inch H-pipe and MBRP cat back system. The JBA H-pipe fit up nicely with the included hardware straight to my Pacesetter headers. I had to cut the 2.5 inch bit off of the MBRP cat back system and add about 6 inches of length to the system, but otherwise this was a simple replacement that went in without much drama.
The JBA H-pipe as well as the MBRP system are made from 409 stainless steel so longevity isn't an issue. The MBRP XP Series race version sounds amazing, it is civil-ish when I'm driving normally and plain brutal under full throttle. Hands down this system suits the 3v sound perfectly. The drone is negligible when you consider that I have no cats, noisy cams, and 4.30 gears.

She ready! Wiring is finalized, updates completed, safety systems are all in place so I can tech the car when the time comes, all of it, lol.
Once the tuning is sorted I can't wait to spray the shit outta this thing. I'm sooooooo ready to see how it will do.

Finally found a mother bottle that wasn't double the going rate! Maaaaaaaaaan, with the 100 shot on the 1st version nitrous Tune from Lito and a couple of changes to the ProMax and jetting on my end this thing is an animal! Its amazing to see all of this work coming together, I can't wait for step up the shot size and get further down the rabbit hole.

What computer is that next to your steering wheel, and how did you mount it so cleanly?
That is the ProMax nitrous controller from Nitrous Outlet. I modified the windshield mount they make for it and ended up screwing it to the dash. I tried 3m adhesive tape which typically would be more than enough but it wouldn't work with the shape of the mount. I then painted the screw black, prolly not necessary because you have to contort your head to even see it, but I like the details to be just right.

Look forward to a video of it spraying when done.
Man, I would love a good one of the car coming out of the hole on the bottle. This thing will hook on a dirt road with my current set up, I can only imagine how cool it looks hookin' and bookin'.

http://www.polydyn.com in Houston Texas. I would't recommend them, the coating rusted through the 1st time I had them coated. At $300 for the headers and $350 for the coating this wasn't exactly a cheaper route.
Maybe it's a byproduct of coating mild steel headers but both times I have had them coated they rust spotted through the coating immediately. The spotting is more mild this time, I had the car stored for a while under a covered car port and there was standing water near by, so maybe the extra humidity and the car sitting added to it, I dunno. I hate to say it because they look amazing and the heat reduction is real. The take away for me here is that stainless + coating is the way to go.

Some more upgrades, making progress little by little. I went to this intake hoping to avoid fuel puddling and match my RPM range when I change valves springs and go to more aggressive cams. Also added an automatic bottle heater for the nitrous system.IMG_8563.JPG IMG_8567.JPG
