How many things can I run off of one tach driver source?
I currently have my trans controller on one coil wire, my ProMax nitrous controller on another, and plans for tach or shift light in the works.
It seems like for I will need the tach adapter or CTO to drive the tach/shift light, so that brings up driving all the required tach signals off of the CTO or tach adapter instead of tapping coils for this purpose.

Went ahead and ordered the MSD tach adapter. Anyone driving more than 1 source with this?

Do you have the literature for the tach adapter ? It depends on the impedance of what you're driving.

Got the tach Autometer 9117 tach adapter installed today. Works like a charm and drives both my trans controller and the nitrous controller just fine. The instructions actually show it wired to several accessories so I figured this is probably part of it's intended use.
The trans controller works waaaaaaaaay better with the tach adapter instead of tapping a coil wire. Much more responsive at low RPM and no more stack shifting when I floor it at low speed.
