I left shortly after I posted and went and saw it. I liked it. I think rotten tomatoes gave it 34. It was definitely better than that.

How did it compare to the first? A lot of times sequels that take forever to get made turn out disappointing.

example I loved Dumb and Dumber. I thought Dumb and Dumber To was just meh

Wife and I finally saw Star Wars the Last Jedi a couple nights ago.
She thought it was ok, I was disappointed.
Two and a half hours long, at least a half hour too long considering how slow it went.
Too much time spent on non-action stuff.
Meh.

If you liked the first one, then it is worth going to the theater to see the second one.

I saw Infinity War over the weekend and well wow. To me it lived up to the hype.

Do not let anyone spoil it for you, avoid spoilers at all costs and just go see it.

While you could see it without seeing all of the previous MCU movies, there are a few IMO that you should/need to see in order to better enjoy Infinity War. Those would be Dr Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy, Cap Civil War, Black Panther and Thor Ragnarok. Infinity war starts right where Ragnarok ends.

And I mean it starts right away, gets right into the action and pretty much doesn't stop throughout the rest of the movie. It is very fast paced and just keeps going. I would say that is probably the only negative I could think of, is that it kind of just goes from set piece to set piece but if you have been following the MCU you know the characters, and you know what Thanos is up to, so it's not a big negative. The banter between some of the characters who have never met is hilarious.

spot on! In terms of MCU it's a 3-way tie for my favourite between this, Black Panther and Guardians 1

Saw Super Troopers 2 yesterday with the wife.
We loved it.
Extra scenes during the credits and after.

Did Super Troopers 2 hold up to the original?

We thought so. Some of the lines were repeated from the first one, but overall we loved it.
Looking forward to seeing it again on TV.
The extra scenes at the end kinda make you think "Huh, that's why it took them 17 years to make the sequel, they couldn't stop laughing during the takes!" Lol

Just saw Deadpool 2 with the wife (birthday dinner/movie :) )
Loved it.
Stan Lee's cameo is pretty much a poster of him, or billboard or something. Very easy to miss, and we did. Googled it to find out he somehow WAS actually in it.

STAY TILL THE END OF THE CREDITS or you'll miss stuff.
The END of the credits.

I watched till the end of the credits and there was nothing. I have an AMC, what theater do you have?

AMC. Toward the end of the credits there's a song with a bunch of profanity in it, and before that there's another scene with Deadpool and Ryan Reynolds both in it
