Took it to get some groceries.
As usual when I take it to run errands, I got some walking in too :)

The button is literally from a Honda S2000.

I had a total reading comprehension fail on that one. I thought it said $2000 button, and I was wondering who the hell would pay $2000 for a push button start! LOL

It actually wasn't "today", just forgot to post it. I bought a new one - was going to get the 5.0 and when I priced it out with the options I wanted "holy shit!" over $50,000! More than the Continental. So decided to go with the EcoBoost and found exactly what I wanted in the correct color with performance package; then the dealer decided to play games when I was on the way to pick it up so I walked away because I won't buy from a shady place.

My wife said we should go to another dealer and my phone chimed - with a text from Asheboro Ford. Looked around the lot and decided to settle on a 5.0 that didn't have everything I wanted so we went inside to go over the numbers. That's when my wife spotted the convertible that was in the showroom and said "you need a convertible".

nice Jim - I loved my 06 vert and the wife has a white A5 vert now, you're also now in a better climate for a vert!

Enjoy

That was what my wife said too when I was looking at the coupe.

I forgot to lubricate the poly bushings on my rear control arms when I changed the oil last month, so I put the back of the car up in the air and got out the grease gun. Then I did a quick detail to get the pollen off him so he can go to work tomorrow. Quick drive around the neighborhood to confirm no more "squish" over bumps.

Well last friday I installed my new Bilstein shocks and struts along with Vorshlag CC plates. With the rain all week I just waited to today to take the car to a friend garage that had a laser level floor to check camber. I set them to 1.6- camber and they are preset to factory setting but you have 3 more caster adjustment if needed. They have a pointer and scale for the camber so once you have it set, you can mark it and if your auto crossing and want 2.5- you can adjust to that and then reset it to your original setting.

The Bilstein struts are the 1'' shorter center tube for lowered cars. The ride is 100% better. Not a cheep setup but well worth it.

I'm really thinking of switching to that setup when it's time to replace my Konis. They just ride so freaking stiff. And I'm not 24 anymore; I don't think it's "cool" or "hardcore" to drive around in a car with rod ends everywhere.
