Why are you sticking with your S197?

I like the 2018s a lot, but not "give up my Mustang AND pay $450/mo for the next five years" a lot.

2008 "tigermachine II" Bullitt Mustang build, Pics & Video on Post #518 ...

Believe it or not, but there is actually a market for people that want super-clean, well-built, turn key 1000 horsepower Mustangs. Some of those people realize you're not going to be able to do that for the price of a new 5.0. You're apparently not one of them.

    '18 GT 10-spd auto dyno numbers: 415/397

Almost 11s at almost 117! That's gotta be frustrating, lol! Completely stock car, second pass. LMR.

    *** WTB 20" Staggered CS40 Wheels ***

I love mine, and nearly bought another set to keep around for spares. Good luck!

    WTB: Stock 05-14 Springs

I have a set of Brembo Brake Package springs from a '12 GT. They came off the car at 1250 miles, so they are basically brand new. These springs are unique to the BBP cars (131lbs F / 167lbs R), not shared with Boss 302s or any other GT. FedEx says $45 to get a 40lb box to your zip from here...

Drag Truck - The Danger Ranger

It sounds like you attempted to reduce the crank centerline offset from 2" to as little as you could get. I'm kind of curious why. Moving the engine over a couple of inches is fine. It will gain a lot of brake and steering clearance that you apparently need! And it doesn't affect driveline...

Fox almost done but think I may sell for a terminator, thoughts?

Since the '94-04 Mustangs are the butt-ugliest ones ever built, I'd stick with the Fox body.

Fun with old car parts- Worlds heaviest floor lamp.

That is awesome! I have a bunch of early Chrysler Hemi parts that I have thought about doing something similar with. But then I think about moving that heavy cast iron crap around and decide not to! lol

    20" wheel style O-PINE-YUN...

Have you considered KMC or American Racing Novas? Real nice, uncluttered looking wheels. You can get all kinds of finish options; cast, polished, chrome, etc.

    What would you do?

I'd look at going T56 if it were mine. Running it through the gears is half the fun. If you have plans to make a lot more power, then now might be the time for an auto. If you're trying to put 700+ down, an automatic is almost mandatory. If you don't have that kind of power, putting it in D and...

2017 Hurst Kenne Bell R-Code Mustang

Not a bad looking car, but I could not be more bored with the huge wing / huge hood / huge front and side splitter look. THANKS A LOT, JOHN GREENWOOD.

    Aircraft Picture Thread

Not an aviation photo per se, but I thought you guys would like it. My wedding band is made from the titanium of an SR-71A exhaust nozzle, specifically that of 61-7972, which has some speed records. September 01, 1974 New York to London (World Record-Speed Over a Recognized Course): Distance...

I believe that is a C47 Dakota (DC-3). I think the tail has been smashed in making it look more raked-back / modern. The side windows make me think that. Were there any more details?

What have you done to your mustang today?

I paid it off. Actually, that happened five days ago, but figured I'd put it here. Day One, Sept 24 2011: This was about four months ago, but still looks the same with 83k miles.

    Made the move from a 4.6 to a 5.0

Nice car! I can't imagine what sticker price was on a GT/CS convertible. Had to be within spitting distance of 50 grand. Most of the exhaust options on 5.0s are way too loud in my opinion, especially on a convertible. IMO the GT500s sound great and so do the Ford/Borla Touring.I think those...

    Generation of Mustangs

Not exactly. That moron is in marketing and his job is to move units. If a 32-cent anniversary plaque on the dash gets a splash of publicity, some showroom traffic, and a few extra cars sold, you bet your ass he's gonna do it. And whoever that moron is, he is laughing about people arguing...

Nice. I love it when a smartass comes along and makes himself look like an idiot. Guess what makes a car an anniversary edition. Math? Eh... I mean mathematics? Nope. Calendar year versus model year aka "MY"? No sir. .... ...

Who Has Used Mother's Back-to-Black Aerosol?

About three years ago, my cowl panel was getting sun faded on my '12 GT. I had tried a few things on it, but nothing seemed to get it looking like it should. I've always been a big-time hater of Plasti-Dip. I bought back a set of wheels that a guy had lightly sprayed some on, and it was a huge...

Lowered On 20's? Post Your Pics!

Nice looking wheels! They remind me of Shelby CS40s, except without those annoying chrome plastirivets.

    Need help choosing wheels!

Thanks for saying that. I spent a lot of time and research getting the wheels/tires/suspension like I thought it should be.

I don't hate the black ones, but machined wheels on a white car are the shit. :naughty1:

    Generation of Mustangs

Here is my buddy's '77 Cobra II. It had an EFI roller cam 331 stroker, aluminum GT40 heads, TFS Stage II, Z-spec T5, and 3.73 gears in the 8" rear. Someone had spent a mint on restoring it. I think we counted over $20k in receipts. It was pretty quick and it wasn't embarrassing to be seen in it.

Learning to make fast go fast!

Man, I would give a lot of thought to never touching a 3V again. I'm completely serious. There are other ways to have fun.
