What can you do to make a coyote safe at 7500 or more RPM?

OPGs and valve springs (mine floats at 7600-7700). You'll probably need a new clutch too.

    Noob/Intro

I think DOT4 is going to be especially important for a track noob since they will be less likely to detect a brake problem right away and also more likely to cause a heat issue by braking longer/slower.

BMR K-Member and A-Arms on Road Courses?

Most of the road course guys say this isn't sturdy enough. They aren't designed with the lateral forces of road course use in mind.

    325/50/15 MTs vs 295/55/15 ...thoughts?

Not a single person asked - are you trying to look cooler or go faster? On most cars a good 275 drag tire with a good setup is plenty. a 325 might just slow you down.

What size Front sway bar are people running for autocross?

I'll agree that these cars have surprisingly decent roll rates for what they are. But it does seem like most people who track and autocross like to run a stiff front and soft rear, and many of them bring up the camber curve as part or most of the reason. Whether their reasoning is right or not...

What size Front sway bar are people running for autocross?

I believe the s197 front end is kind of backwards when compared to the standard "more sway bar or spring rate = less grip" rule. It easily rolls out of negative camber, which I guess is far more detrimental to grip than extra stiffness.

Limits of stock exhaust and current injectors

Yeah I could see a 2step or excessive backfiring causing the muffler damage, but not just pure power.

    Sky Render's Build Thread

I took my strut brace off and noticed zero difference, even in autocross. It won't fit when I put the cobra jet intake on, and I don't intend on purchasing a new one that does. As far as the watts link "myth" goes, I didn't go back far enough to see which article it was, but the only one I...

Limits of stock exhaust and current injectors

I've also never heard of any mufflers failing on a coyote due to power, ever. There are gains to be had from exhaust mods, your efficiency will improve (more power per psi, which is healthier for the engine that trying to cram more boost in) You may eventually cook the stock cats. As for...

    Ideas for Built MT-82

The gearing on the mt82 is actually quite good for the mustang. If you're going through gears too quickly you probably just need a longer rear gear. The mt82 isn't nearly as bad as people make it out to be, but it doesn't really put up with beating on it unnecessarily.

Vorshlag "Street Pro" = 9 seconds

I use this trick currently in my stock seats. It helps, but still leaves much to be desired. Where can one purchase said custom harness?

    Ideas for Built MT-82

Most say to skip the RXT unless you absolutely need that much torque capacity, as they grab very hard and hurt driveline parts easily. RST or some other clutch would be a better choice i think. Skip the barton, whiteline instert, and SR gasket. Get an MGW race spec (or x-spec if you really need...

    Setup Questions/Quick Intro

I'm going to chime in and say you have a few unecessary's on the list. Motor mounts won't make much difference besides extra vibration Front control arms are sort of unecessary, but replacing the FCA bushings with better ones isn't a bad idea. By STB I assume you mean the strut tower bar. Don't...

    Steering/Control at higher speeds

Do you have control arm relocation brackets? If those are set on too aggressive of a hole you will create excessive roll-steer which could create a twitchy feeling. You could try letting a couple PSI out of the tires. Different tires like different pressures at different temperatures, getting it...

    Coyote build questions

If you want to upgrade the cams get aftermarket ones. The 15 ones will be more trouble than they are worth and will give minimal to no gains.

Faster Tire NT01 or MT ET Street SS

For autox you will not want to be running drag radials (you could MAYBE get away with nitton 555R, but there are far better tires to use). I would like to add the third option of Bridgestone RE71R's, they are THE go-to autocross tire atm, and even mustangs seem to do very well with them. There's...

the how wide can I go debate

This. SO many mustang people make this mistake with various size wheel and tires, but they don't seem to care as long as they have the widest tire possible.

Tiger Racing Hood after 1 year = :(

For those worried about their intake and rain, you can always use a prefilter on the intake. As for keeping the rest dry.... nope. Though you shouldn't really get misfires from some rain, that should all be sealed and relatively weatherproof.

I need some brembo brake bleeding help

My car came with brembos and has been an absolute b**** to bleed every time I disconnect anything. For whatever reason, it will only bleed properly while running. If the car is not running, I can bleed until I get a nice firm pedal and it sinks as soon as the car starts. Even with the car...
