I actually did exactly what Jeremy mentioned using abs plastic in my RX-7 racecar. Made the cardboard template and then transferred that to the plastic. Then drill the holes you need. Also, I spray painted the side facing into the hole black. That left the side facing the interior black and smooth.

I used to race motorcycles (WERA) and do most of my track days at on Summit Main. I still call it home. Never been on Jefferson or Shenandoah.

Thanks for bringing up the rake subject. I was curious if there was a reason for the rake and also why a long of manufacturers sell springs with an even drop (currently looking at BMRs) leaving the rake in the car. i'm going to set the car up for autocross and track days.
