    The shop is called Insane Paint and he's the best detailer in the Birmingham, AL area. He's been trusted by multiple supercar owners in this area. I wouldn't let anyone else touch my car after the results I've gotten from him. I agree the 20" wheels look much better than the 18's.

    I agree. I actually didn't want the lanyards attached to the pins. But, my buddy who installed a set on his mustang that didn't have any had his pins stolen one day in a parking lot a week after installing. The only reason I got a set that did have them was for a little extra added security.

    If I were you I wouldn't go through that much trouble for such little noticeable difference. I would think it would stick to a vinyl stripe just as well as bare metal. But, at the end of the day you have to live with the result, so do what you think looks best.

    On my hockey stick stripe there is a small window where the fender badge with the adhesive is applied to bare metal , so I don't know if it makes a difference or not. But, that's the way Roush did it.

    Oh wow, thanks for the tip. I took and extra step and used touch up paint to cover the bare metal where I cut the holes to help against rust. Did you ever see any issues like that with the holes rusting after a while?

    Of all the modifications I have done, this one probably made me the most nervous. I knew I had a little bit of room if I didn't drill the hole perfect because the plate covers such a large area, but I probably measured 10 times before actually punching through the hood lol.
